At Motherlode Prospecting, we are out in the field year-round. We are constantly researching, exploring, and testing new ground across the historic California Motherlode to expand our footprint and find the best gold-bearing areas.

Because of our active presence in the field, we frequently stake new claims. However, properly maintaining a mining claim requires significant time, boots-on-the-ground labor, and annual assessment work. To ensure we can effectively manage our active portfolio without spreading ourselves too thin, we periodically offer select, high-quality mining claims for sale to the public.

We want to be entirely clear: we do not stake "junk" claims just to flip them. Every single claim listed on this page was meticulously researched, tested, and staked on proven ground, originally intended for our own private use, extraction, and prospecting training.
